about the driver

cassten everidge

Cassten has been driving race cars since the age of 13. His career began at Angola Motorsport Speedway in the mini-stock division. In his first season, he would go on to win many races at the historic Mottville Speedway. In 2013, Cassten got his first start in an asphalt late model. In 2013, he was crowned rookie of the year at Angola Motorsport Speedway. In just his second year of racing late models, he was crowned Championship Runner-Up. Since then, Cassten has been driving late models across all levels of the ASA/CRA series all over the midwest.Off the track, Cassten is an engineer. He spends most of his time inventing, designing, and building things. His five pending patents are evidence of this. Cassten was the inventor and founder of the TrackTune app (exited in 2024). Today, Cassten is primarily engineering custom lithium-ion battery packs at CIE Solutions. In the offseason, Cassten can be found in the mountains of Colorado on his snowboard.

History of CER

1987

Cassten Everidge Racing came to life long before Cassten did. In 1987, Everidge Racing Enterprises was founded by Ron and Rick Everidge in Stroh, IN. Ron had been the owner of Everidge Motor Sales since 1984. In those days, owners of used car dealerships had an obligation to race and promote their vehicles. This was the start of what would eventually become Cassten Everidge Racing.

2010

Cassten's racing career begins in the Ford Pinto pictured above.

2013

Cassten and Rick share the track for the first time. It wasn't long until a rookie Cassten was going to find a way to wreck his dad.

2014 and beyond

Aside from late model racing, Cassten has also competed in some other forms of racing such as the Purdue Grand Prix pictured above.

Over the years, we've been able to keep the most important tradition alive: winning.

Cassten has also done some activities that we will call "racing adjacent"
